The Village is seeking interested candidates for a substitute Crossing Guard position. This position would serve to assist and supplement our existing Crossing Guards on an as-needed basis to help fill hours as may be available. Crossing Guards carry out duties in the morning from one hour before school begins through when school begins (7:00 AM to 8:00 AM) and from when school ends through one hour afterward ( 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM). Please see the attached job description for additional details. Again, this position will serve as a substitute for the current staff to fill hours as they may be available when current staff may be unavailable, so we are not able to guarantee any set schedule or set hours. Interested candidates can complete our online application available here: https://form.jotform.com/71994600069159 or you may also stop by our Village Office to pick up a paper application. Reminder: Tonight's Village Council Regular Meeting will be held in-person at the Decatur Village Hall and begins promptly at 7:00 PM. To ensure the safety of all Councilmembers, staff, and visitors all attendees are required to wear a mask while in Village Hall. A sanitizer station is also located near the entrance. We have reconfigured the layout of the Council Chamber for this meeting to try to enhance the safety of all.

Finally, we are planning to live stream tonight's meeting on our Youtube Channel as well. To view the live stream, please visit the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Lco8F8labU.

Note, with the Youtube live stream, there will not be a method for 2-way communication. The purpose of the live stream will simply be for remote viewing. So, if you would wish to make a public comment, you will need to be in attendance. However, if you are only wishing to view the meeting, you are welcomed to click the link above and watch the stream. This will be our first use of our new video system, so, feel free to let us know how the stream works for you. If you run into issues, let us know and we'll troubleshoot them for future meetings.
